Our Curated Tours
At County Epicurious, we believe in celebrating all things culinary, historic, and community-focused through our walking tours (aka wanders) of local restaurants, shops, and other establishments. Our mission is to provide a unique and memorable experience that highlights the best that our county has to offer.
Join us on one of our two or three hour, walking guided tours to wander and discover new flavours, meet local purveyors, and connect with the community.
We choose to use the word "wander" to encourage you to savour the leisurely experience of The County without feeling the pressure to hurry.
While wandering with us, you will discover the hidden gems that make The County so special. Our knowledgeable Artisanal Wanderers (aka guides) will take you on a journey through time as we explore the rich history of our area and taste the local flavours that are from local farms in The County.
Whether you're a local or new to the area, our walking tours are a great way to connect with the community and experience the best that The County has to offer.

We also offer the option to purchase a curated box of local treats as part of, or separate from a guided tour.

We are delighted to take you on the walking tour of Picton - which we call a wander - where we will share the neighbourhood gems for some culinary treats, a bit of history and introduce you to our community.
About Us
Our Story
County Epicurious is the brainchild of two passionate Artisanal Wanderers, determined to showcase the diverse offerings of Prince Edward County, in addition to the fantastic wineries and the beautiful Sandbanks.
Lindsay Hepburn came on board to create some time away from her commercial real estate career and her own busy farm at The Hepburn Demille Estate in Demorestville, where she manages the beautiful and historic 1800's property.
Marie Greatrix came from a world of brand implementation / management consulting and, with her husband Rob (local to The County), started The Elmbrook Farm. Marie's love of sourdough bread began her journey to create a micro-bakery on the property.
While working together, the friendship and discussions began to start County Epicurious and celebrate all things culinary, historic, and community focused. Much as The County’s appreciated ‘barn quilts’, they aim to weave the threads between sustainable farming, history, culture, and architecture that form the rich tapestry of The County.

At County Epicurious, we extend a warm invitation to fellow wanderers to join us on a curated tour of Picton. Through this experience, wanderers (that's you!) will immerse themselves in the history of the region while savouring delectable food, exquisite drinks, and unique products offered by The County's local purveyor of fine goods.
